Audience represent the different groups into which you can segment your email contacts to easily send email campaigns Each audience can add contacts either via CSV upload or using our JSON Http API endpoint
Also ensure that your emails are cleaned & are safe to send in order to avoid email bounces & maintain high reputation. Only import contacts that customers have consented
Go to Audience Page & create a new audience with a Audience Name (for your reference) and Audience Emoji
Click on “Upload Contacts to Audience” option & select import CSV option
Once you select the CSV you’d like to import into Mailboat, a new modal appears where the fields on the left refer to the fields from your CSV and the middle column with sample values from the CSV.
The column on the right contains default fields in Mailboat.
The “email_address” in Mailboat column is mandatory and the import would fail if email_address field is not mapped while you can choose to map the other fields or select “Skip this field” if you’d not want them to be imported into mailboat
If you want to store a custom property name than the default fields from mailboat, select on “Add custom property towards the bottom of the “Map fields” modal
Then click on confirm import
