Domain authentication is the first step to initiate successful email campaigns with good deliverability

Your customers will receive emails from an authenticated & verified sender which would ensure that your emails have greater chances of landing in the inbox

1. Setup Company Address

Header over to “Domain & Sender Authentication” tab & start by updating your company address which would appear in the footer of your emails

2. Add new Domain

On Domain Settings Page, add a new domain with an appropriate subdomain (like mail.mailboat.io instead of mailboat.io) so that the DNS records don’t conflict with your other subdomains

3. Setup domain records on your DNS hosting provider

There are 3 types of records which need to be setup - CNAME records, MX record & SPF Record

You can copy the record using the clipboard icon next to the record and paste it on your hosting provider
